I just need to sand and varnish them. I've made about 50 of these so far. I'm finding it slightly addictive. I especially enjoy matching the papers, they're like mini patchworks! I'm having trouble finding papers I like that are more "boy-centric".
These are excellent! Boy, do I love blogs, everyday you are introduced to all the amazing things people are up to. Thank you for the banner link - I only pray mine ends up looking half as good as yours!
Love that house in the post below from design sponge - that was exactly the hue of green I tried to paint some of our rooms. Sadly it ended up with a bit more blue and a bit less yellow. Oh well.
Hey, these are awesome! I wouldn't mind making some for my little one... what do you use to keep them sturdy? X (thanks for making me not feel so bad about my studio)
Honor, the blocks are made from 4cm blocks of wood. Blocks of pine I suggest. The local craft store sells these blocks pre-cut! When my husband gets a drop saw I will cut my own.
