Illustration Friday - Hoard
Micron pen and acrylic paint.
This is a rough picture I drew and painted while the bub was asleep. I have been so frustrated lately because I haven't had time to paint or draw. This is the first time I have used a micron pen for drawing. I watered the acrylic paint down to create a blotchy effect. Watercolour paints would have been better, but I was using cheap paper.
My husband would say that I hoard art supplies. These are some things in my studio; my second hand drafting table, ikea tubs full of paints, fabric and paper(I have more), big ikea shelves that house a lot of stuff and my rolls of paper and canvas.

Well done! I really like the idea. I hoard art supplies, too...
One of my worst nightmare is packing for a trip and forgetting my pencils and papers....
I agree, that's a really good idea. I know I certainly hoard that sort of thing. But I'm not as organized as you look to be :D
to evella: Then you just have to buy more when you get there! I bought a kid's lined notebook once at a Mexican supermarket because it was all I could find - it worked!
I think most artists are supply hoarders. I have more colored pencils than any human should...
Evella: Agreed, a holiday is just not right without pencils and papers! I have a pencil case ready with my favourite colours.
Jewel: My studio is tidy at the moment because we just sold our home.
VERY NICE I LIKE YOUR STYLE
ha ha! I think all artists hoard all sorts of art supplies (but I might need this (insert random object) for some undetermined future art project!)- nice line work and colors... :)
Art supplies are always a good hoard to have!
i bet this will ring true with nearly every artist that sees this! your hoard seems pretty well organized, unlike mine!
I think the effect you arrived at is very attractive, especially in the first of the two images. That's a pretty tidy hoard!
